This is the story of various ladies, given a legend of becoming, the human Protectress of Scotland.  In each story , all except one, they are young women, one is twenty-nine, I realize today, that is not old, however, in the 12 Century, it would have been. The only good thing that I have to say about these short stories, in my humble opinion, only one, Lori Bailey, whom I have never heard of, at least, has the vernacular correct! The words are too modern for that time period!? Why on earth, would three, or four, writers, get this vital part wrong? The last one, the best, the name? LessLee, that absolutely drove me to distraction, along with the vernacular, I was already there! The most important thing to remember, I buy these books, and I pay my own money for this site. I am not out to dislike books, in fact, to be honest, I would have quit at page three. However, I read them all, in order to be fair. This was a great idea , sad to say, it fell on bad writing. I have the right to my Integrity, and I will call out poor writing, when I see it.  On a sidebar here, Robert The Bruce, had many sisters, whose real names, could have been used, from generation to generation as keepers of the Stone, a truly better idea, that has sadly, gone to waste. On the other hand, no one ask my opinion.
